My name's Tyler. I created this blog to share with others my journey as I transform a house and 7 acres I bought last year into a thriving homestead. There are many, many, many plans for improving the property...from remodeling the house inside and out, to building a storm cellar, to planting an orchard, repairing and stocking the pond, building a new barn, building a proper grape arbor, growing a pumpkin patch, clearing the brush in the woods, gardening, canning, possibly getting goats and alpacas....who knows what else??

In day-to-day life, I work two jobs. Through the week I'm a salesman, on weekends I'm a delivery guy. It's the moments between--the afternoons and late evenings working on various projects, time spent with family and friends I enjoy the most.
